Barbara Raimondo is an Italian artist based in Zürich, working across sculpture, ceramics, installation, and mixed media.
Her practice explores transformation through material, investigating the relationships between body, space, memory, and form. Working intuitively across different scales and materials, she creates sculptural works that exist between the organic and the architectural, where individual elements retain their autonomy while contributing to a larger whole.
Clay remains at the heart of her practice, not as an end in itself, but as a living material through which questions of fragmentation, connection, concealment, and becoming unfold.
Whether creating architectural ceramic murals, sculptural objects, or conceptual installations, her work invites contemplation of the visible and invisible forces that shape our experience of matter, space, and transformation.
